While working for this real estate firm, Ryan simultaneously attended Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. Following graduation in 2009, Ryan assisted the in-house counsel of a local food retail and wholesale company. Among the legal work performed by Ryan for this company was the disposition of over 30 store locations valued at an estimated $160MM.  Ryan has also had the privilege of representing a few clients in some criminal matters, but one of his more memorable experiences was representing a client in a multi-family property dispute in which Ryan helped procure a six figure settlement for his client.
